Iron Springs "Give Back Tuesday" this Tuesday! Aug 11 in Fairfax

Join us on Tuesday August 11, 2015 for "Give Back Tuesday" at Iron Springs Pub and Brewery in Fairfax. Iron Springs will donate ten percent of the proceeds of all food and beverage sales from 4 to 11pm to Bread & Roses Presents.

Volunteer performer Lauren Arrow will be sharing upbeat music from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Sing-along with Lauren, a Fairfax resident, as she plays familiar folk and rock tunes in her inimitable style.

Bring friends and family to enjoy a fun evening of food, drink and music while supporting Bread & Roses as well as a great local establishment. Thanks to Anne & Michael Altman of Iron Springs for their dedication in giving back to local nonprofit organizations in the community.

About Matt Nathanson

Matt is a San Francisco based, internationally touring indie rock performer with a big heart and irreverent wit. He has been a Bread & Roses volunteer since 1998 and has performed for teens and adults in a variety of isolated Bay Area audiences in mental heath and rehab settings.

About KFOG

We are honored to co-present this very special evening with KFOG, a valued collaborative partner for Bread & Roses Presents. KFOG gives back to the community in many ways, including their Local Scene CDs, which help support music education programs in schools and promote local musicians, many of whom volunteer to do concerts for Bread & Roses.

Support Our Mission

Proceeds from this concert will support Bread & Roses’ ongoing mission of bringing hope and healing through live music in over 600 annual shows to our neighbors in need throughout the Bay Area.

Poetry In Parks

Bread & Roses Presents is honored to have a presence at Poetry in Parks 2016 on Sunday Oct. 9 from 11 am to 5 pm at the Mount Tamalpais Mountain Theater. The Festival is co-produced by Quiet Lightning, California State Parks and the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy as part of Litquake.

We will provide children's activities with wonderful clown and performance artist Bri Tree and roving troubadour Andrew Skewes-Cox. We will also have a table at the event.
